Designer baby clothing donated to a hospital with a baby born with congenital heart disease has been donated to the baby’s hospital room with a donated blanket.

It is believed the blanket, donated by a friend of the baby, was placed in the mother’s room to prevent her from overheating during the delivery.

The baby’s father, who is a member of the charity, said the blanket helped to keep the baby comfortable during a difficult time for the baby.

The donor was a member in good standing of the UK Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and had the company of a doctor and staff member.

The charity has donated blankets to hospitals across the country in recent months.

The new donation is one of three donated in December to help treat newborn babies with congenial heart disease.
